@pradhumxx @lhfaria I get the point, but population and passion alone don’t justify a VCT slot. GE was supposed to represent South Asia, yet they haven’t fielded Indian players. If SA’s own partner team isn’t showcasing local talent, Riot may question what a dedicated SA pathway represents.

@lhfaria @lhfaria If VCT Pacific 2027 is focusing on regional leagues for KR, JP, ID, VN, and TH, it feels like a massive miss to not give India its own dedicated spot. The Indian Valorant scene has the population, the raw hunger, and the talent to stand on its own, why sub region for us?

More updates on the new VCT in 2027: - 8 partner teams in each territory (32 total) - 12 teams at Kickoff and Cups - Minimum of 4 open teams per tournament - Triple elimination returns for Kickoff - Opens in 14 regions - Qualification stipends for open teams: $100K at Cups, $200K at Masters, $400K at Champions - Additional $6M in prize pools - $100K for teams qualifying to GCC - New community tournament guidelines

@oyasumidenden @Biging1997 @RaafiMania @RocketBullets @anonimotum KR2/JP2 seems more likely. Korea has better results and deeper talent, but LoL remains dominant there. Japan may be less competitive, yet VALORANT is still a bigger market. Riot considers business value too, so KR2/JP2 feels more realistic.

@Biging1997 @RaafiMania @RocketBullets @anonimotum Who do you replace then. RRQ, PRX are fixed. 3rd slots for SEA is pretty much fixed. T1, GenG and another Korean team is fixed too. Then remains two slots. One for each sub region is compulsory. 1 SA, 1 Japan. It's just not logical.
