No big wings we have to guard, and we have plenty of small defenders to throw at their guards and size for their bigs. Plus Brunson owns Mitchell

@shwinnypooh Dolan is such a fool. The Knicks could have easily sold not paying Mitch like 15 million a year or staying below the second apron as a long-term strategy but he had to open his big mouth and now it's about the owner being cheap with a championship roster.

@TheCohencidence Something is off with the reporting on this. From a $ saving standpoint its not like theres some cliff at the 2nd apron that needs to be avoided, The 2nd apron # is arbitrary in that regard I also doubt that Dolan, by himself, got into the weeds with the CBA and dropped a mandate

Two things can be true: 1) The Knicks should consider the impact of being above the second apron for the next few years 2) Staying below the second apron (when you’re already well into the luxury tax!) should not be because of saving money when your team just won a championship
