@evanhamilton When we moved to Portland many moons ago this was truly one of the most perplexing and frustrating traditions, and in the 8 years we lived there I never got used to it.

I truly never thought I was one of those impatient coastal elites until I had to wait for someone to pump my gas in Oregon.

Over the past couple of years I've seen hundreds of job applications come in for a variety of roles spanning community, product, marketing, etc. My best advice to everyone, regardless of role you're applying for, is: Take the time to personalize your app!
