For the first time a V3 Starship Booster sits cradled in the arms of Starbase Pad B for its upcoming historical static fire. The worlds most powerful engines will soon breathe fury through this flame diverter

Which will happen first? Artemis II launching or my stitches coming out and my patch falling off of my backpack? Start the clock.

@antiAntiperson Even worser timeline: Every achievement in space over the next few years is realized under-and attributed to-a fallen democracy that has been replaced by a fascist empire that repeats the atrocities of World War II in the name of a “master race.”

WORST TIMELINE: The Artemis II mission to the Moon is overshadowed by a botched American invasion of Iran which both occur on March 6th, 2026. Network headlines are overrun with news of the invasion and A2 is only mentioned once, relegated to the science & technology section ☹️

Took my first physics quiz and was super excited to see Falcon 9 and Atlas V named in one of the problems. Then it said “assume the rocket has constant mass and air resistance.” Like okay, so thats not a rocket anymore..

@otherside_X42 SpaceX’s deluge is similarly delayed until the last second. I think its in the interest of not activating until the rocket has committed to launch, in case of a last second abort. It must have something to do with water possibly damaging the rocket.
