8 years ago, I was in India for a 3 week trip and encouraged my 20 year old cousin to start cycling.
We rode together every day, covering 20–50 km on the city roads and nearby villages. He loved it and continued even after I returned to the UK.
Couple of months later, a truck hit him on the very same road we used to ride together.
2 months in hospital. Multiple surgeries. He survived, but it changed everything. I still carry the regret of pushing him towards road cycling.
We often overlook the risks of road cycling and running, but the reality on our roads is brutal.
Your health matters, but your life matters more.
Choose safer options: parks, treadmills, indoor cycling. Go to a gym.
No fitness goal is worth this risk.

his 62 year old uncle had kidney failure, diabetes, hypertension, a stroke, and severe migraines that ONLY happened when lying down to sleep.
neurologists couldn't explain it. nephrologists couldn't explain it. brain MRI showed nothing obvious.
so he brought everything to Claude.
