I’m a huge fan of both football & athletics, so can see both sides. However, I could not agree with Keely more. The 2012 Olympics were the most incredible event for the UK - certainly in my lifetime. And aside from a few logistics, the champs could happen. Such a shame if not.

Thoroughly enjoyed the rattled comments under this, but in all seriousness, to have a global championships back in London would be incredible for our sport. I didn't think we'd get the opportunity again during my career, the british crowd would fill it everyday. The gas we may need tomorrow, has not been burnt today because of renewable energy. We have over 160GW of BESS approved and these interconnectors being built. This will reduce our use of volition fossil fuels further.

@KateFantom The country is deindustrialised, has no manufacturing anymore, is borrowing 15 billion a month even though we have the highest tax burden since ww2. At least when the country completely collapses and we’re having blackouts and on rations we will have clean air eh?

Radical Israelis have allegedly established a settlement in Area A of the West Bank, which is under full control of the Palestinian Authority. The violence in the West Bank is absolutely unacceptable. Horrific stories of Radicals in the West Bank attacking Palestinian civilians, murdering animals, and even torturing Palestinians are far too common these days. Watching all of this unfold is beyond tragic. Israel must crack down on these violent radicals.
