@RadioFreeTom Level 10 - patronizingly explaining to the person who created the thing they're explaining.
Level 20 - mansplaining to a *woman* who created the thing.
Level 1000 - when the thing is one of the current era's most famous cultural touchstones for misogyny and patriarchy.

And not only that, Elon is using your money to talk out of both sides of his mouth - to stoke religious division between Americans! x.com/jsrailton/stat…

If you click on a Twitter ad, or buy a Tesla, or Starlink service - you are now providing the primary source of funding for Trump's ground game in the crucial swing states.
Consider that before you ever give them another penny.

New -- Elon Musk donated $75m to America PAC, which is doing the bulk of the Trump campaign's ground game work across the battleground states. Musk donated $15m in July, $30m in August and $30m in September, per FEC filings. Notably, he's the PAC's only donor

Since judicial punishments in the US tend to be tough in general, I'm seldom in the lock'em up camp. But there needs to be a massive (FBI/brings in the Feds level) effort to find these culprits and severely punish them. For all the ways confidence and the reliability of our voting system has been damaged. Destruction of ballots takes things to a dramatic and unsustainable new level which tears at the fabric which still mostly ensures civic peace.

@soren_iverson I always wished for an "I'm willing to make illegal U-turns" option, at least

@BadLegalTakes Is it possible to file an anti-SLAPP lawsuit against an entire state government agency? 😬

@brannoningram @ethansteininger @jdan "Guy I did business with once saw something but when I asked for details to publicize it he wouldn't give any"... It's even worse!
English

@ethansteininger @jdan “my buddy saw something” is not a meritorious claim

@fakehistoryhunt This would be extremely easy to do with Photoshop even before generative AI. Just find a stock photo of an old excavation site and composite that foreground onto the cathedral and city as background, then throw on a sepia-tone filter.

@GergelyOrosz Adobe has done this a bunch of times too! Hopefully going on the offense like this dissuades future patent trolls from trying in the first place...

Awesome and something to feel very proud of, but: counting individual satellites instead of *pounds* of payload launched may be overstating this given the advent of microsatellites like Starlink

@KyleCla21074039 @JustinIvie6 @PhilMctimoney @NateSilver538 WY gets 1 popular vote per 192,000 people.
TX gets 1 popular vote per 763,000 people.
People in TX count for way less under the EC.
English

@JustinIvie6 @PhilMctimoney @NateSilver538 A voter in WY doesn't count for more than TX. It's the opposite. TX yields 40 EC votes, whereas WY only gets 3. Proving once again the genius of the EC.

Today's update. Low volume, but Harris will certainly take today's national polls (NBC +5 or +6; CBS/YouGov +4) and she's now up an even 3 points in our national average.

@DOnyali26 @KyleCla21074039 @JustinIvie6 @PhilMctimoney @NateSilver538 Right! There were like 1.5 M Republican votes in NYC + LA last election and none of them counted at all. That's like an entire South Carolina worth of Republican votes that got zero voice whatsoever.
Under the EC voters in only about 5 states effectively matter at all, sadly.
English

@KyleCla21074039 @JustinIvie6 @PhilMctimoney @NateSilver538 Land doesn’t vote; people do.
Who cares if 3% of the population lives in 2 cities?
Even under the absurd notion that every single person in those cities voted unanimously, that’s not going to decide anything under a popular vote, unless you’re really bad at math.
