🚨Breaking: FIFA have confirmed that the ball did not hit the camera cable, the technology in the ball would’ve picked up the spike. The VAR reviewed the incident and ruled that the trajectory of the ball did not change. Norway FA may file an official complaint.

If the ball actually touched the camera wires, why wasn’t it called back? The goalkeeper, coach and players were complaining, why were they ignored? The only thing that comes to my mind is that, if this was Argentina, the conspiracies will be crazy.

Before England’s goal in minute 45+2 against Norway, the sensor in the Connected Ball showed no peak in the 'heartbeat of the ball' when in the air, and therefore no evidence that the ball touched the overhead wire and changed the movement of the ball.
