I am so sad to hear of the sudden passing of former Ambassador to Jamaica, Juan José González Mijares. The joy he found in service to country and building relations between the United States of Mexico and Jamaica was closely followed by the love he developed for Jamaica and found here. It was demonstrated in so many different ways and well felt among the many friends he made. He will be truly missed. May his soul rest in peace.
