This was my first Itasha event I had ever been to! Itasha Week 2026 had some really cool selection of cars that I wish I took heaps more photos off but then it started raining when I arrived and I was afraid to take my camera out 😅😅 #ITASHAWEEK2026

@maxwell_ni There was a CLK GTR back there at the time front and center. Shame he's retiring the 962 though, very underappreciated schuppan car with a history in the JSPC. I will have to go dig out my '91 brochures and find some pictures.

@konomata Yeah I think the boss has retired it from vintage use. Not sure if he picked up that CLK GTR for himself but I heard he's building something different.

I've worked on this car! It's very well sorted. Carbon tub, very advanced 962.

@FawwazRafif14 @CarSighting Popular misconception. Only for a short while during the 2005 season they experimented with an MF408 in the #11. Both cars had a F129/F136 for the 6 years they raced.
