@koolusuck14 @Swurv__ I see your point. I think they were going for Interstellar, not Star Wars/Trek. Still, humanoid aliens, even if they were mysterious watchers (UFO) would've been cool. There's far more than companion quests, and if you just did the main quest, you really missed out.

Starfield is a pretty fun game when you don't have a Luke Stephens subscriber chirping in your ear about how ashamed Todd Howard should be about procedurally generated content.

@koolusuck14 @Swurv__ Which narrative? The main quest is lackluster, typical, but it has so many that are far more interesting. Combat is basic, but fun. Space combat is great. I saw nothing wrong with the enemy variety: Spacers, Pirates, Terrormorphs, villainous ringleaders, etc., were all suitable.

@ZANEJWICKMAN @Swurv__ I find that the narrative is not interesting. Combat is also your standard Bethesda gameplay. The space mechanics are done better in countless other games. Lastly, the enemy variety isn’t what I expected.

If you struggle on the first puzzle in Crimson Desert. Some of the most talented creators and journalists I know struggled here. It doesn't make you less of a "gamer". It's an unintuitive puzzle with cumbersome controls in an environment you've yet to understand.
