Alta-Collins now showing 11" of snow from 0.73" of SWE. The setup today is extremely favorable for orographics in LCC and perhaps even some lake effect/enhancement. If and when the canyon opens, snorkels could be necessary.

The hourly minimum at Alta-Collins was -11F at 9am. Can’t recall the last time I saw it that cold. Whoever skied today is brave!

I only use music medicinally, because it is a powerful "drug" that goes in your ears. (Every hypnotist will agree.)
Sad music makes you sad. Angry music makes you angry. It's all bad for your health and success.
Some music with nonsense lyrics (like the Beatles) and a good beat are useful for exercise. I use those medicinally.

A few years ago I stopped listening to all music (including hikes and lifting) for a month once I understood it was a form of hypnosis. Then I reintroduced it and LISTENED TO THE WORDS. Mortifying. Try it. The stuff you’re putting into your mind … not good.
