I spend quite a bit of time in a county that went 70% for Trump. This observation is spot on. I want to see more “how can we understand?” Less “why are some of our people so awful?” Growth mindset requires humility and learning.

@robertwiblin It's not so much that they want more as that they despise the Democrats. To a lot of people in America, Democrats are smug college kids who regard them as untouchables. The Democrats would get a lot more votes if they tried to understand these people better.
