@zawisza2017 @ReidEdwardII Sorry Kasia I disagree with you. We need allies and if we refuse to fight for them they would be justified in not supporting us. That's what NATO is for

Many people know The Dirty Dozen, the story of unruly American paratroopers who fought with reckless courage and inspired the famous 1967 film, but what Hollywood never showed was the real story of men who lived that kind of bravery in truth and paid dearly for it. The true legends came from the land of the White Eagle. They were the men of the Polish First Independent Parachute Brigade, commanded by General Stanisław Sosabowski. They trained in exile to one day return and liberate their occupied homeland. They were fierce, proud, and deeply loyal. They spoke Polish, English, and French. They carried their nation’s hope on their backs. They were known for discipline in battle and for their fiery spirit when off duty. Like every brotherhood of soldiers, they fought as hard as they lived. They were meant to drop over Warsaw in 1944 to support the Uprising that was tearing their city apart under German occupation, but the Western command chose a different plan. Instead of Warsaw they were sent into the doomed Operation Market Garden at Arnhem in Holland, where they parachuted straight into entrenched German Panzer divisions. The result was catastrophic. More than thirty thousand Allied soldiers were lost. Sosabowski’s Polish paratroopers fought with unmatched courage, holding bridges under impossible fire and buying precious hours for others to escape. When the fighting ended, they were blamed for the failure even though the fault belonged to the British high command that misplanned the operation. At the end of the war, the Polish soldiers who had fought for the freedom of Europe were denied the right to march in the 1946 London Victory Parade. It took Winston Churchill’s personal intervention in Parliament to have them invited, but the damage was already done. Many refused to march. They knew themeaning of that silence. Poland had been handed to Stalin, and their sacrifice was already being forgotten in the West. One veteran later called it a slap in the face to men who no longer had a country to return to. From Brigadier General Tadeusz Kościuszko in America’s Revolution to Sosabowski’s men at Arnhem, Polish and Polish-American soldiers have fought for freedom in every century. They shed their blood on battlefields far from home so that others might live free. They are the true heroes behind the Hollywood myth, men whose courage needs no script. @TheFergusonWay On the day we signed Ole I was on a plane and the lady who was Norwegian next to me told me about him and said he was going to be a very good signing. Boy was she right.

@ManUtdMania_ I have the feeling that he will be at United for a long time. We need to have faith in him and I’m convinced he will bring us back to the good old days but it might take a bit longer than some fans want

@EliteKobbie @UnitedStandMUFC Until we start to look and play like United of Old there should be No Xmas Party. Staff and players are part of the Team . Players on massive salaries that don’t want to run and have ego’s as big as their wages.

@UnitedStandMUFC I like this decision a lot. The men’s team are disappointing, underwhelming, lacking results, sitting bottom half of the table. No time to celebrate, only time to work hard and get back to winning ways.
