@GrantPaulsen Williams can win on the outside too he’s not just slot

On the Commanders' WR room: 1) McLaurin is the WR1 and he needs to eat. If he plays like he did in 2024, they'll be just fine. They need him on the field and producing like he always has prior to last year. 2) Antonio Williams will likely get the first crack at the slot role. Luke McCaffrey and Jaylin Lane will be competing with him. McCaffrey can play outside some but Lane probably is slot only. That's a logjam of guys Peters has drafted in the last three years in rounds 3 and 4. 3) This offseason has been very good for Treylon Burks. I'd imagine he's got a legit shot to start on the outside right now. 4) Dyami Brown is very close with Jayden Daniels. Remember, he floruished in the playoffs before departing for $10 M in free agency (still one of the funniest one-year deals a team has offered in a little while). Perhaps he picks up where he left off. 5) I was looking at bigger, outside WR options. They clearly fell in love with Williams, though. How much of this is about Burks? Maybe they really think the former 1st-rounder can become a reliable starter.
