5th graders are light benders!! We had a little extra time outside after recess to refract the sun through a prism to make a rainbow. Students were very excited to see this! @EllisSoars

@themeekmoose @EllisSoars @mrschadwick4 Definitely not! The kids didn’t even notice. They were too glued to their sets and building. I can see some asking you to come and hang out in the future! We have creative builders on our hands.

First Robotics club day was successful!! The clubs worked collaboratively to explore and build a project from Spike Prime!! Can’t wait to see what is next! @EllisSoars @mrschadwick4

Was able to see some creativity this week with rotations, reflections, translations, and also combining and subdividing shapes! They were so excited to show their learning with shapes! @EllisSoars

Multiplication chart competition has started!! These fifth graders are working hard to know how to make multiplication charts to help them with their math. Can you spot any strategies that the students are using?? #math #multiplication #masters #strategy

Sound can be noisy!! These fifth graders were able to explore the world of sound. Through these explorations, they learned that we are able to hear sounds because of the vibrations that they make! @EllisSoars

Love seeing struggle turn into success! Students were given materials to light a bulb to explore and get a sense of what would work with electricity. The excitement of getting the light turned on is the best part of this unit each year!

Loved surprising these fifth graders with shirts and books! Thanks to @tees2urdoor1 for these amazing shirts. They couldn’t wait to put them on. Hope@they enjoy reading #FuzzyMud by #LouisSachar over our break!

Loved seeing the growth of these students with the reading of Holes by Louis Sachar. They loved every bit of it!! They even escaped Camp Green Lake today in our escape room to earn some Sploosh! Can’t wait to see what they read next!!

Loved getting the opportunity to take a field trip to the Tech Lab at Cedar Point Elementary! Students were so creative and engaged in their projects and ideas to make the world better! They were still talking about it today and if we could go back!

Students LOVEEDD using quiz,quiz, trade to review for our science test!! This really boosted their confidence before the test and proved how much they did know!
