Interesting ABS situation here. 3-2, runner goes, ball 4 is called and he pulls up into 2B. Catcher challenges… and now you start to wonder what would happen if it’s overturned. Are the announcers right, would this become a double play? Or would the umpires send the runner back to first since the original call influenced the play?

@KidsGetHealthy_ @iam_johnw if he lets the ball travel in it's in center field with a runner on 3B. The hop took "let the ball come to you" out of play. His glove was on the dirt where a good throw does exactly what you said. But once it bounced short he had to go up & catch it.

@iam_johnw Either you've never played baseball or you did, but managed to learn nothing. This was a poor tag. If he simply let the ball travel in rather than than stab outward with the glove, the runner is likely out.
