Yesterday at @AginMotion a woman with a clipboard asked me if I believed farming was affecting the climate… I responded by asking her if she knew what % of the atmosphere was CO2, “Most of it” was her response. She gave me a blank stare when I informed her it is .04%…

@hering_ryan Truck and trailer are 18.5-19.5 mt tare. Weigh about same a superb empty. Legal gross is 53.3 mt

@kracres Kris, I would have thought a person could carry 37mt plus legal on primary but are these trucks heavier than I think?

Anyone out there run a tri-drive on a triaxle trailer? The grain triaxle out there that are tridive friendly are between 46-48’ long. I love the idea compared to super b’s for seeding and unloading at harvest but worry about turning in yards and in and out of fields. Experiences?

@donmclean14 We really like the field finish and the job they do.

@kracres Our deep tillers are hard on axle bearings too so that wouldn’t be much of a change here. Lol

Looking at going to a 2141 Salford from a deep tiller. Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated. And if you have a line on one would also be appreciated.

@donmclean14 We haven’t changed too many bearings in the disks more issues with axle bearings. They do take a lot of grease and we grease often

@kracres Higher maintenance as in changing bearings?
