Today I watched a video that genuinely made me think. A woman booked a cab. During the ride, she suddenly had an emergency and ended up urinating inside the car. The driver noticed and completely lost his temper. Then a heated argument started between them: Driver: “Ma’am, what have you done? This is a car, not a toilet.” Woman (instead of apologizing): “Why are you shouting? I’ll clean it up… what’s your problem? It already happened.” Driver: “How is it not my problem? This car is my livelihood. You’re doing this right in front of me and then telling me to stay quiet?” Woman: “Stop overreacting… I’ll pay for it and get it cleaned.” Driver: “You don’t even have basic manners? I’m trying to do my job here. What am I supposed to say to the next passenger? Is this really acceptable behavior?” What stood out in the video was that even after making a mistake, the woman never really apologized. Instead, she kept trying to silence the driver. Yes, emergencies can happen to anyone. That’s not really the main issue here. The real question is: Doesn’t someone’s hard work, dignity, and source of income deserve basic respect too? What do you think? In a situation like this, who was actually right? And is saying “I’ll clean it up” really enough?

People keep asking how Barça could afford João Pedro for €100M if Julián Álvarez is supposedly “too expensive,” but the situations are completely different. According to reports, Atlético wants immediate cash for Álvarez because PSG is bidding and Barça is a direct rival. Chelsea, meanwhile, could be more open to installments because of Premier League Profit & Sustainability Rule issues. So while João Pedro may cost €100M on paper, Barça wouldn’t pay it all at once. A 5 year deal would spread the fee through amortization, meaning it would count around €20M per year on the books. If Barça return to the 1:1 rule and Lewandowski leaves, that would also free up a massive amount in wages, helping create space for both João Pedro’s fee and salary. Hope that explains it well, and if you guys have questions, just comment. Obviously the deal would still be difficult and there are a lot of factors involved. There’s no guarantee Chelsea would accept installments or anything like that, but this is just a simplified explanation of why Barça could see the João Pedro deal as more possible than the Álvarez one.

Although, like I said, I can’t really blame the team for this performance considering the circumstances, I still have to admit I’m disappointed with some players. The team as a whole had nothing major to play for, but for players like Roony, Casadó, or Balde, these kinds of games are rare opportunities to prove to Flick that they deserve a bigger role and more minutes next season.
