@robbystarbuck That's exactly what I was thinking. Hantavirus does not spread easily between people. Hantavirus is capable of killing close to half the planet in a few months. If it's spreading that fast we are all dead men walking.
It’s very strange that the flight attendant has any symptoms this quickly. If this is later confirmed to be hantavirus, then it’s possible we have a very dangerous mutation going on, because the lady from the ship was kicked off the flight and didn’t actually fly on the plane.
That would mean a quick contact was enough for it to spread. Hantavirus doesn’t typically result in symptoms this quickly either. Let’s all hope the flight attendant has some normal cold or flu. If not, we’re in for a lot more bad news, which means governments would quickly try to flip back to COVID tyranny.
I’m hoping it’s a cold, so things don’t get dark.
@pubity If it means anything, from what's been reported by the WHO, this virus is mainly spread through rat waste, not so much person-to-person contact. On top of that, due to it's relatively high mortality rate, it's not gonna spread that easy like COVID. A small epidemic at best.
The Hantavirus has confirmed or suspected cases in several parts of the world linked to the MV Hondius cruise ship.
Here's a list of countries being monitored for Hantavirus exposure:
- Argentina
- Canada
- Cape Verde
- Denmark
- Germany
- Israel
- The Netherlands
- New Zealand
- Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Singapore
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- Turkey
- The United Kingdom
- The United States
HANTAVIRUS UPDATE: Spanish health authorities are on high alert as a cruise ship carrying a suspected Hantavirus outbreak heads toward the Canary Islands. The World Health Organization has confirmed three fatalities, while around 150 passengers — including 17 Americans — remain on board.
The vessel is expected to dock in Tenerife as early as Saturday, where all passengers will undergo mandatory medical testing before only those cleared by Spain’s Health Ministry are allowed to return to their home countries.
@BRICSinfo The UK has neither the manpower, the weapons nor budget to waste on "buddy wars", to defend their nation yes, just not enough for shit beyond territorial defence.
Iran's Seyed Mohammad Marandi:
“Because of Netanyahu and Trump, Iran is preparing to destroy everything in the Persian Gulf - including all critical infrastructure in the UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Temperatures will rise, the Peninsula will become uninhabitable, and the global economy will crash.”
Carlos Ulberg lost the belt while partying after beating Jiri Prochazka 😭
“I’ve lost the belt, bro. I don’t know where it is. The plan was to not have a drink. One thing leads to another and you’re doing shots.
We went out to a nightclub and I didn’t want to be carrying the belt around.”

Trump said he asked Xi Jinping not to supply weapons to Iran and received confirmation that China is not doing so
“I heard that China was providing weapons… to Iran. And I wrote him (Xi) a letter asking him not to do that, and he wrote me a letter saying that, basically, he is not doing it,” the president said in an interview with Fox Business.
He added that dealing with China has never been easy, but his personal relationship with the country’s leader is good.
🇺🇸🇮🇷 US President Donald Trump says:
The U.S. Navy will begin the process of blockading any and all ships entering or leaving the Strait of Hormuz, after failed nuclear talks with Iran.
He added that vessels linked to alleged Iranian “tolls” will be interdicted in international waters, and warned the Navy is “locked and loaded” if any attack occurs.
🚨 TARRIF WARS ARE BACK AGAIN.
The US is about to tax every finished product containing steel or aluminum on its full price, not just the metal inside it.
The US imported over $49 billion worth of steel and aluminum in 2024. A 25% tariff applied to the full value of those imports would generate over $12 billion in potential tariff revenue annually for the US government.
The US runs a combined trade deficit of over $31 billion in steel and aluminum annually. These tariffs are directly aimed at closing that gap.
The headline rate drops from 50% to 25%, but because it now applies to the entire product value instead of just the metal content, the actual tariff burden for many goods goes up. The presidential proclamation could come as soon as this week.
Canada, the EU, Mexico and South Korea are the most exposed.
@nationalpost So what if it's that much. Canadian tax payers deserve even more. How about stop giving money to Ukraine and limit politician spending to help fund this!
Old Age Security is the single biggest line item in the federal budget, totalling $85.5 billion in 2025-26.
It is expected to cost more than $100 billion annually by 2030
