I just started using @Cron calendar - it has one simple game-changing feature: A menu bar calendar. Why? I am a big fan of time blocking, and it doubles as a countdown timer to let me know how much time I have left for a given task. Perfect!

Last Tuesday my Dad was hit and killed while crossing the street. He was 75 and healthy. I assumed I would have more years and plenty of warning that his time was ending. I’ll regret forever that I didn’t maximize the time we had together.

@krisniles Basically comes down to whether or not they are actively seeking a solution to a known problem that they have.

Marketing channels 101: Have a high intent audience? SEM and SEO are your game. Have a low intent audience? Paid social, organic social, and content strategy are probably best.

I’m hoping to make it feel like a “Mac-assed Mac app” which is why I’m using AppKit instead of Catalyst or SwiftUI. Though I’m doing some weird things like recreating UINavigationController in the sidebar. It’s an experiment, but I think it works for this particular use case.

I’ve been working on a new side project, building the note taking/knowledge base app I’ve always wanted. Going to be a slow burn since my I’m starting on macOS in AppKit and those skills are rusty. I’m not sure I’ll ever release it, but here’s some wip shots:
