An exciting project is underway at the RCR: the creation of an AI Registry.   We want to streamline and facilitate the adoption of AI by providing a comprehensive directory of all NHS sites using AI tools as part of their imaging work.   Read more: rcr.ac.uk/posts/rcr-laun…

@RCRadiologists Anyone involved with any research, development or implementation should read this. Excellent resource and clear recommendation on how we together can improve in translating AI’s potential to patient outcomes.

@cxbln I am a few days (ie ages in this world) but this is genuinely so interesting. Here's a speech. The structure and sentence composition is clearly made for oration.

@LLo_ai Hope this helps understand the rationale behind the request. Short version: would just love a key shortcut / gesture for doing what clicking the app icon in stage manager dock already does - list all 'stages' of that app.

@LLo_ai 'Expose' doesn't allow that (App expose always has irrelevant windows from other spaces), but Stage Manager doesn't which is huge, its per desktop. Honestly I'd settle for just a key-shortcut which opens the 'app stage manager' view (screenshot) for the currently focused app.

Today I added various Stage Manager specific actions to BetterTouchTool (alpha v3.923). You can activate any visible Stage (either by position or by contained apps), cycle through stages, or show them in a context menu. vimeo.com/763828846

Stage Manager doesn't come with keyboard shortcuts. However if used to group apps for specific use cases (e.g. coding, graphics, email etc.) you can switch to a specific stage by activating one of the apps on that stage. You can use BTT's "Launch Application /..." action for that

@tot_app Thanks for the message & for considering. Yes I would view that as a bug should this be implemented. That was not typing, but just tot wrapping around and going to the first ‘level’, which it shouldn’t do. Must say its a strange design choice, as almost all apps do opposite.

@kritdw That is currently a design choice. We understand the need and are looking at a bunch of different options for dealing with indentation levels. (For example, your suggestion breaks when selecting multiple lines and hitting TAB to indent all. Is it indentation or typing?)

@tot_app is this is a bug or design choice? Hitting TAB does not auto-indent the smart bullet? Would love for this to work like other apps - make breaking down tasks much easier! Thanks for the stellar app.

Thinking is that Hunt would remain in No11 as Chancellor under Rishi. But the question is who - if anyone - could be promoted to keep the Liz Truss backers happy? Same MP says Dorries would end up "in outer space" with rage if Rishi was installed, and that could split the party.

MPs today already plotting a fantasy Rishi Cabinet. One says: "There is a small group of lunatics that thinks that Suella is the best thing since sliced bread, and if you compromise and keep her as Home Secretary, how do you keep everyone else happy?” telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/…

@_DavidSmith Just seen you are planning to release yet. If you’d like another Ultra wearing UK ‘explorer’ who spends most weekends in the Peak District to help beta test, where do I sign up?

Status report after Day 1 of the Apple Watch Ultra Expedition: this device is amazing, love the huge screen, worked great for tracking and navigation. Still finding my way with the Action button. Did 18 miles of fully tracked workouts with the screen on full…still has 37% left.

@sdw @halidecamera Appreciate the quick reply and also the honesty. Looking forward to the write-up and really glad to see Halide thriving. Love the lock screen widget shortcuts. Works really well with the landscape FaceID on 14.

@kritdw @halidecamera I’ll probably keep shooting 12MP in the regular camera for most snapshots (I like Live Photos too), and quick night mode photos. For more deliberate photography I might shoot 48MP HEIC or RAW in Halide.

@halidecamera @sdw thank you for getting 48Mp HEIC out so quickly. Definite improvement in detail, but can’t decide if I should use it in all non-low light situations vs native 12MP camera app. Any thoughts?
