Heads up, there's a tropical system brewing in the Caribbean called Invest 98L. It's expected to hit several islands before its future path becomes clear, with Florida and the southeastern U.S. possibly in its sights. It's a good time to keep an eye on the forecast.

@slicknet Having had to reverse engineer code written by someone who claimed, “it was so long ago, I don’t remember”, I wish this on no human.

I’m skeptical of completely AI-generated apps. Sure, it can create the code faster than you can by hand, but now you have code you didn’t write and need to learn in order to fix bugs, verify it’s functioning as expected, etc. Part of the value of writing code yourself is you gain context as you go.

@kritikal Is there not a back up ace pot? The argument I hear for it is because then there won’t be any money next week for someone to win. I say to that SO ! ace pots are meant to be hit. If they hit with barely any money in it too bad.

anyone else heard of this tradition? When you hit and ace pot you pay part of it back into the ace pot you just hit so that there isn’t zero dollars for the next round. I do NOT agree with that at all.
