@SecDuffy @FMCSA 1. Will the person who issued the CDL in WA get fired from their job? 2. Will the officer who pulled over the driver in New Mexico lose their job? 3. Will the person who issued the CDL in CA lose their job? Hold people accountable when they fail to follow procedure.

This cannot happen again. .@FMCSA is launching an investigation into both the driver and White Hawk Carrier. Here’s what we know:  1. Washington State improperly issued the driver a full-term CDL. Asylum seekers or illegal aliens are NOT allowed to receive this! 2. New Mexico failed to conduct an English Language Proficiency test when they pulled the driver over for speeding. Had they done this, the driver would not have been on the road! 3. We are also looking into California’s issuance of the driver’s CDL.    States MUST FOLLOW THE RULES. If they had, this driver would NEVER have been behind the wheel and three precious lives would still be with us.   The failures here are despicable. Non-enforcement and radical immigration policies have turned the trucking industry into a lawless frontier, resulting in unqualified foreign drivers improperly acquiring licenses to operate 40-ton vehicles.    @POTUS and I moved quickly to require drivers to speak English – our national language – and launch a full-scale audit of how these licenses are doled out. And all of this is just the tip of the iceberg. We’ll have more updates to share soon.

Power Forward Communities was only a few months old with just $100 in the bank when it received the $2 billion grant in 2024. On their website, they listed partnerships with two other nonprofits, both founded by Stacey Abrams. Abrams also serves as senior counsel for Rewiring America, an organization that leads a coalition of groups including Power Forward Communities.

I often suggest people find licensed trauma therapists who are trained in recent trauma modalities. Years ago therapists operated on the assumption that all that was needed for healing trauma was talking about your trauma. This was proven wrong and newer techniques are more effective.
