could you kindly point out WHICH school in Mississippi allows any of this? Because it isn't happening. Mississippi is a conservative state and about ⅔ - ¾ of teachers are conservative. Most teach and the accountability model makes sure that they only have time to teach the standards. I'll wait for a list of story time with tranny schools in Mississippi, but I won't hold my breath.

Today, the Senate chose to be premature of legislative deadlines and performative in their 2-minute Education Committee meeting to kill HB 2. The self-proclaimed deliberative body did not deliberate. Instead of engaging in meaningful work to build on Mississippi’s education gains, the Senate has chosen the route to shut down any productive pathway to put students before systems. To avoid conversation, debate, or thorough evaluation is a disservice to parents, students, and future generations of Mississippians. Senate leadership has aligned themselves with the ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, the Mississippi Democratic Party, and the status quo. I am incredibly proud of my House members who were brave and courageous in their vote for HB 2, unlike the impulsive and rash action shown today by the Senate. Given the way major legislation has been championed by the House over the previous two years, we have seen this move from the “deliberative body” and know the playbook. We are not deterred. This issue will not go away. The Senate has anchored their support to the status quo. We are comfortable where we stand in our support from @WhiteHouse, Governor @tatereeves, most of our statewide elected officials, faith-based organizations, business leaders, the Mississippi Federation of Republican Women, and the majority of Mississippians. The House has proven we will stand up for what is best for Mississippi, and especially our state’s greatest asset – our children.

I've got to believe that we could build a battleship capable of carrying huge amounts of cruise missiles as well as much cheaper low tech artillery that would be much more cost efficient. maybe 2 long barrels vs 3. They could take big hits that smasher vessels could, and operate along side the carriers. They could double as carriers for Marines.

A few of us are thrilled President Trump wants to build battleships. But let’s be clear the “battleship crowd” on X didn’t grow out of naval gun fanboys. It was born from naval logistics nerds who want destroyers with bigger fuel tanks, more missiles and sensors and lower cost anti-air projectiles fired out of deck guns. In short: warships that can protect and hold critical oil storage facilities (which the Army should be protecting but is not) and chokepoints (again a traditional Army job but they are absent from the islands in the Red Sea and not even showing up at America’s only global chokepoint: the Bering Strait) for our oilers.

Moving the third world there would cost a fortune for a nation work a very similar debt problem to ours as well as remove them from where China needs them: Out there in the third world as trade partners. China industrialized SO FAST that they now have a huge problem adjusting to their shrinking, upside down demographic model. You can't centrally plan that efficiently. They're probably under the 1 billion mark now. They kept "One Child" as policy for too long. Currently, nations like Vietnam are taking the 'cheap labor' jobs from them. Even in Mexico, the labor is cheaper and the workers are more educated. Again, while we disagree, I enjoy the discourse. Hope you have a good one.

What always cracks me up is people think China has all those ghost town megaplexes that sit empty for Chinese population. No sir, that is for the outsiders they will be absorbing as globalization gets on. There’s no reason American young people should be so squeezed with unaffordable rent that they can’t carry on the species. We really have to rely on China for Walmart mobile homes? America has failed its young people to enrich the boomer labdlord class. Chinese entrepreneurs are more sympathetic to the needs of young Americans more than actual Americans. It’s sick apathy.
