I wanted to follow up from my last tweets. I’ve always believed competitive equity & inclusivity are both essential in sport. The current system doesn’t adequately balance these important principles, which often leads to frustration and heated exchanges, and it didn’t help for me to get personal with Riley, which I apologize for. These are sensitive, complicated issues that I truly don’t have the answers or solutions to, but I believe it starts with empathy and respect. I was not advocating for policies that compromise fairness in women’s sports. My objection is to be singling out children for public scrutiny in ways that feel personal and harmful. Individual athletes—especially kids—should never be the focus of criticism of a flawed system they have no control over. I believe sports organizations have a responsibility to come up with rules supporting inclusion while maintaining fair competition. We all want a future for sport that is fair, inclusive, and respectful. @mattxiv @Simone_Biles I am leftleaning but worked with in sports for years. I totally agree with Riley on this one. Its sad that everything is about politics instead of common sence and open dialog. Its not about hate, its about fairness. Why do we have womens sports?

Respectfully, Simone, the issue is fairness. And fairness means protecting women’s sports for women. You can’t say you support “competitive equity” while defending policies that allow biological males to compete against females. That is the compromise. That is the problem. This isn’t about singling out children—it’s about acknowledging that sex-based differences in strength, speed, and endurance matter. Pretending otherwise not only erases women’s hard-earned opportunities, it endangers them. Empathy and respect are important. But they don’t override reality. The answer is simple: men have no place in women’s sports.

@heath_coghlan @Riley_Gaines_ @Simone_Biles As sportsmanager for gymnasts earlier, mens and womens gymnastics cant be compared. Biles is an amazing athlete but the question is that biolocial males should not be allowed in female sports or spaces, and the majortity of all athletes agree.

Your argument is completely invalid. @Simone_Biles out performs the men in gymnastics. You're just bitter because you tied with a transgender athlete for 5th place. 4 natural women beat both of you. You were never that good to begin with, that's why you retired. You gave up and are using transgender athletes as the excuse (scapegoat). You're pathetic.

All the horrific sexual abuse @Simone_Biles witnessed and spoke out against caused by one man, yet believes women should be forced to strip naked in front of men to validate the man's feelings. You know how many gold medals you'd have if your "inclusive" dream came true? Zero.
