FF Monaghan visted 10 Downing Street with @UK_ISAR_TEAM earlier this week, the team were thanked by @AndrewmitchMP and Turkish ambassadors for their efforts in Turkey and Syria when the earthquakes happened back in February.

Penketh Fire Station are proud of the two members of Blue Watch who have been in Turkey with ISAR helping rescue casualties after the earthquakes. CM Reid & FF Monaghan have worked tirelessly whilst out there and showed courage and determination. Thoughts are with those involved.

Four of our own personnel along with @UK_ISAR_TEAM took part in a national minute of silence whilst currently deployed in Turkey in memory of FF Barry Martin who lost his life last month whilst attending a fire in Edinburgh. #wewillremember

UPDATE | Our team of four firefighters, who are part of the UK International Search and Rescue team, arrived safely in Türkiye last night and will today be deployed to an area to assist rescue efforts. Thank you for all your messages of support.
