She came to Canada in 2016 for her grade 12 and moved to the University to study Business Admin for 4yrs. After her studies,she received her pgwp and COVID 19 happened and this resulted in limited work opportunity for her. Government announced a public policy for an extension of pgwp for 18 months and she opted-in to receive the 18 months extension to maintain her status.Note that this policy is closed. She was in the express entry pool with 475 points and not competitive. We encouraged her to retake her CELPIP Exam and she did twice to obtain CLB10. With CLB 10 in CELPIP,her CRS jumped to 510 and received Invitation To Apply(ITA) on Aug 27, 2024 and we submitted eAPR in September 2024. Today,Dec 10,2024, she received PR Finalization correspondence from IRCC. Lesson for all: 📌You must be proactive. 📌You must re-evaluate your strategy. 📌Have maximum score in one of the language tests and try to have CLB7 in the second language. 📌Do not give up. The recipient in NB reached out to the High Commission 3 weeks ago with nobody replying to her inquiry to send the passport back to Ottawa.
