Reinforcements at either end 🤝
It's a trio of inclusions for our Round 6 clash with the old enemy.

@HawksInsiders I unfortunately was at that game... travelled from perth to endure the heartbreak finish but it was an insane atmosphere considering we thought the game was done and dusted around half time
English

Was going to save this for the pod but decided to share it early.
The last time we lost scoring over 100 was Round 19, 2012 v Cats (Tom Hawkins game).
Since then we have scored over 100 points ONE HUNDRED AND ONE TIMES and not lost. 101-0.
Pretty incredible stat!
Matt Bland@23MATTB
@HawksInsiders Hawks are on a streak that has lasted over 10 years. How many games is it now since we lost when scoring over 100 points?? Long may it continue!
English

@Quartermain10 @HawthornFC I like dear and we know what he brings, but i think we need to see McCabe in the big league
English

OK @HawthornFC supporters who are you choosing as the replacement?
1. Calsher Dear
2. Will McCabe
3. Aiden Schubert
Personally... I'd like a look at Schubert first, although I suspect McCabe may get first crack

Hawthorn's Mabior Chol has been ruled out for the next four to six weeks with a hamstring injury, reports @JoshGabelich. Details: afl.com.au/news/1498140
English

@BradKlibansky @HawksInsiders Big opportunity for Mitch lewis also, can be the key pillar for a big block of games.
I do like the idea of getting some games into McCabe aswel
English

😢 Big loss for the Hawks and their forward structure. Good opportunity ahead for the likes of Will McCabe, Aidan Schubert and Calsher Dear @HawksInsiders
Josh Gabelich@JoshGabelich
Mabior Chol has been ruled out for the next 4-6 weeks. Scans have confirmed a moderate-grade hamstring strain. First hammy of his career @AFLcomau
English

@zerohanger @StevoMedia All off season was the hawks cant win a flag with that midfield and 5 weeks into the season they dont have a weakness... 🤦
English

"Hawthorn WILL win the premiership this year."
@StevoMedia believes the flag is the Hawks' to lose!

.@XanderMcGuire7 on the messaging from AFL House on Opening Round in 2027 👇
"Opening Round or the first round of the season won't look anything like it did this year."
"They (the AFL) are zeroing in on a Round One type of fixture where all 18 clubs will be involved."
"It will still be weighted very heavily towards the northern states to make sure they get the boost they really want."
English

@hawthornzone Im upset hes gone because now we have to watch him for the shitney and become a very handy player
English

@wbulldogsnews9 Dogs are a potent outfit but English going down will be very hard to replace
English

@HawkTalkPod Ginni and Lewis were massive also even though @GinnivanJack fell over his own feet at one point 😂
English

So many final quarter moments that contributed to the win besides Gunston's last gasp golden point...
- Connor MacDonald's centre clearance
- Reeves with a perfect tap to Newcombe
- Sicily's mark in D50
- Lewis and Chol bobbed up when it mattered most
- That final tackle to snuff out any small chance of Geelong stealing it
- And of course what HZ has highlighted here, Impey's smother

@_684148249_ Here i was thinking the bombers are the worst team in the comp... 😆
English

first question I’d be asking Michael Voss after the game..
North kicked 7 goals in the last Qrt, what did you do to try stop the bleeding?

first question I’d be asking Michael Voss after the game.. Sydney kicked 12 goals in the 3rd Qrt, what did you do to try stop the bleeding?
English

@PaulineHansonOz Aus needs to scrap the green dream, it'll never work and we need to start digging all our resources that we have huge amounts of and be self sufficient.. start manufacturing & start refining again & build this economy and create thousands of jobs. Get the working class aus back
English

The Prime Minister hijacked every TV and Radio channel in the country last night to say... not a lot.
Australia is clearly heading towards fuel rationing if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed. Why can't the Prime Minister be upfront about that?
If we're headed that way, we should start rationing now instead of pretending everything's okay.
One Nation has lead the way in this crisis. We've been the first to call for an emergency declaration, fuel excise relief, stopping the road user charge, underwriting supply ships and ditching net-zero.
Australia is asking for leadership and a plan - two things Anthony Albanese has failed to deliver.
English

@Ausbobsmit Haha tax cut on fuel for 3 months soooo counter balance that with dollar or litre restrictions your bang on
English

@JnglJourney But we will fuel trumps war machine 😂 our politicians are so cooked
English

@brobson_politic @AlboMP Half the fuel excise tax for 3 months and then restrict everyone to $50 fuel limits for 3 months i suspect
English

So tonight, at 7pm, @AlboMP is going to speak to the nation about the fuel crisis.
I fully expect he will announce a bunch of restrictions that come into effect on Tuesday, 7th April, after the Easter long-weekend.
Ironically, he will be making his announcement just as our fuel availability situation is starting to improve (see images - circled shows increase in supply) - which is fully the norm for our incompetent Prime Minister: react late; react wrong; and lie about it.

English

@HawkTalkPod Hate to say it but if clubs are coming for any of our forwards it would probably be lewis..
English

He's 20 years old, has played 26 games, and (rightly) has Gunston, Lewis and Chol ahead of him. No cause for concern here whatsoever.
