@pernilleripp I love this book. Waber illustrates different kinds of courage-everyday courage and awesome kinds of courage.

@pernilleripp My superintendent did not allow independent reading. She said it was a waste of instructional time. Guess what my students were doing every time she came to visit my classroom!
English

@FletcherRalph Gorgeous. I’m thinking that my teaching partner @heidishima would have made an awesome math lesson on ratio with this photo.
English

@FletcherRalph What a smile. So sorry for your loss. Such wise words. I remember reading these aloud to my students many times. ❤️
English

@mullalyteach Oh, these are bringing me much joy! I love how creative and unique each one is. 💀☠️

Cursive Skeletons are back!! They’re dancing, dabbing, hat-tipping, rapping, trick-or-treating, and bringing joy to our classroom! 💀🎨✍️🦴🧡#dmseagles #usdlearns #ArtsEd

@this1is4ewe @Sporkfighter1 @AdrienneBranden I taught for 25 years, the last ten in middle school, and I loved every single day. Pedagogical nightmare indeed! Everything that I loved about teaching was gone.
English

@ktadelman @Sporkfighter1 @AdrienneBranden Omg I am so sorry. How long had you taught? What grades? Covid did me in and basically ruined me / also education imho has become the opposite of everything I was taught long ago . Pedagogícal nightmare!
English

@this1is4ewe @Sporkfighter1 @AdrienneBranden Same here. I retired in October at the end of the first quarter last year. It’s taken me this long to recover.
English

@Sporkfighter1 @AdrienneBranden Same. I had to retire COVID-19 did me in both physically/mentally. Not to mention the politically divided school. I was fully aware I wasn’t ok I thought I might die ( no exaggeration ) and I was very healthy until covid. I resigned spring break and knew my life depended on it

Frog and Toad looks a lot different this year ♥️ but it’s still Frog and Toad! #carltonusd #usdlearns #frogandtoad

@FletcherRalph This is a perfect photograph. And I can’t get over those fringy feathers.
English

@FletcherRalph And since retiring in October 2020, I must say that reading Marshfield Dreams with my 6th graders is something that I miss the most.
English

@FletcherRalph You can rest assured that you have accomplished just that. Over the years, your books have inspired my students to write stories that enable them, for the first time in their lives, to see themselves as writers.

@pperfectsquares How cool is that! I recognize some of those amazing Eagles. 🥰

Yesterday I took some of my Advisory students on a hike at Quicksilver. So great to finally connect with them outside of Zoom and to take in all this beauty together! Ms. Brown and a couple of parents joined in too! #dmseagles #usdlearns
