Things that fill my heart with joy on my campus: when my former students give me a hug when I see them in the hall, seeing fellow teachers who are always in a good mood, and witnessing my current students laughing and having a good time in the hall between classes. #CHSHome

Two things I learned from Ch.6 are that scanning is an effective tool in teaching students key words to understand, prior to reading a text. Also, having ELs speak in complete sentences allows them to form and structure academic language. #cisdeslbil
