Webhook development is broken. ngrok dies, URLs change, failed hooks need manual replay... Built HookScope to fix it: ✅ Live dashboard ✅ Auto-forward to localhost ✅ Retry with backoff ✅ Go CLI — one binary kubanowacki.dev/blog/how-i-bui…

@tobixion Thanks! I am using Warp as my terminal and played a little bit with opacity and backdrop blur 😁

Finished retry logic! If your server is down when a webhook arrives, hookscope retries automatically — 30s, 2min, 10min, 1h, 24h next: CLI tunnel so you can forward directly to localhost app.hookscope.dev #buildinpublic #webdev #indiehacker

@robert_shaw Hi! I'm building Hookscope — a real-time webhook inspector for developers tired of debugging webhooks blind? Hookscope lets you see exactly what's hitting your endpoints, forwards requests to your server automatically, and retries on failure! app.hookscope.dev

Building Hookscope — webhook inspector for developers → webhooks appear in real-time → automatic forwarding to your server still building, you can join waitlist now! 📅 app.hookscope.dev #buildinpublic #webdev

@coscosmico Appreciate that! zero config, copy url and it works in 30s real-time with auto-reconnect payload diff between requests replay with body editing, not just retry cli tunnel to localhost Biggest webhook pain point for you?

@kubabuilds Feature flags in Go is a solid pick. Webhook debugging is one of those tools every dev needs but few build well.

@49agents that's exactly the plan — webhook inspector ships first feature flags are further along in terms of architecture but hookscope is easier to show and validate publicly good call on the visual aspect, real-time webhook inspection demos really well

@kubabuilds two dev tools at once is ambitious. feature flag service in go and webhook inspector in nestjs are both solid niches. id ship the webhook inspector first - its more visual, easier to demo in public, and validation comes faster

@sourabhbgp Cloud first — want to nail the hosted experience before thinking about self-hosted. But open source from day one, so self-hosting will always be possible if you need it. What's your biggest pain point with webhooks right now?
