@shhhbreslin @vauhinivara @BeckyLTuch @TheAtlantic I think Forge is saying that she may not have said that she used A.I. to write the specific piece that Becky Tuch "caught." Is @nytimes acknowledging that A.I. use is acceptable in its articles? Or has its use already been common practice?

Wow, I'm in @TheAtlantic! This is a great, in-depth look at how AI is creeping into top papers & magazines. Great, thorough work from @vauhinivara.

@charmreduction I'm not an expert, but ALL of "indie lit" would include a lot of AI use, slop, etc.

A writer just shared with me a contract she received from Paper Dragon, a lit mag out of @DrexelUniv. I am IN SHOCK. The editor refused to negotiate.

@plasticbagger My dad went to Catholic school through 8th, or maybe only 7th or 6th, but decades later, this school year, I really tuned into how the "pray for us" part of Catholic prayer is so great. I mean no matter where we come from, what we believe, or how lost our cause is, Pray for us.

@xlorentzen Sincerely, I would not have guessed you're a Jest head. I'm uncertain of why I would not have guessed that.

Woke up this morning and started rereading 'Infinite Jest' for the first time since I wrote this piece in 2015. So good. archive.ph/7fOm8

@Sean_Barnard1 Tatum, Embiid, Paul George. . . There are a number of players teams could lose for the playoffs. It's unpredictable. I agree, though, that the Pistons without Cunningham is a lot better than Cleveland, Boston, or NY healthy.

The concept of the Sixers threading the needle to get the 8 seed and play the Pistons in the first round with Cade Cunningham’s status in doubt sounds appealing But Detroit scares me with or without Cade from the Sixers’ perspective. Would be a bloodbath on the boards
Pick Swap Media@PickSwapMedia

Even with Cade Cunningham out, the Detroit Pistons are a team nobody wants to see in a seven-game series. They’re full of scrappy, hungry young guys who compete every night and fight for all 48 minutes. Right now, they’re clicking on all cylinders! 📈

AI was not used to compose any original writing at The Less United States of Kudera, and to the best of the knowledge of the crackerjack team at L.U.S.K., no writer quoted at S.K. has ever used A.I. or at the very least, the section quoted is A.I. free. kudera.blogspot.com

@vauhinivara @BeckyLTuch @TheAtlantic Congratulations. In a way, it would be worse if what she wrote was so mediocre that it sounded like AI but wasn't. (I wrote this reply. I then had thoughts interrupted by a freight train passing perpendicular to where I sit in a parked car. A bat out of hell did I then drive?)
