Hey again. no fud. trying to be as transparent and honest as I can, we had a misunderstanding and I don't want to blame anyone but myself for not checking it myself manually. in the heat of the moment we thought it's just because the dev wallet can be changed - the bot showed the correct information and everything seemed fine, it got checked 3 times. This was an attack using a weakness in the bot that doesn't recognize the proper private keys for external pools that are not pumpswap pools.
pumpv1 was injected into the api without a verification because initially the bot only supports pumpfun new pumpswap not old tokens.
Its a big mistake and we're very very sorry. We will keep shipping and we just pushed an update. We're very transparent about this and don't like to hide anything, the purpose was surely to not lie to anyone.
We are going to onboard insanely big projects (which wasn't our focus so far, but we will shift towards it since it's now mandatory - stay tuned for that).
in the meantime, continuing to work on Snowball Bot V2. we are on a mission, and sometimes mistakes like this happen. this doesn't mean that snowball is still not what it is, and this didn't change the destiny of snowball even by a bit.
The haters must be celebrating right now, but we will prove them wrong. I care about this market, it is the love of my life. the last thing I'd try to do is scam anyone.
I will allocate $10,000 in cash for any coin above 10m$ market cap to shift to the snowball mechanism as long as they have a pumpswap pool.
