@meatymcsorley I mean I kinda made peace with it because I understand some people have a different relation with empathy, or are just unable to feel it towards animals or other human beings. I wouldn't change the way I feel, if given the choice, though. Enjoy the sandwich!

Il ne faut pas supprimer cette foire au jambon. On ne force personne à manger de la cochonnaille et celui qui n'en mange pas n'a qu'à pas y aller, tout simplement. Sinon, il faudrait aussi supprimer le halal par respect pour ceux qui n'en mangent pas. Vous êtes d'accord ?

@JeReinforme Le plus pathétique dans ce post, à mon avis, c'est la tentative d'hommes bien blancs de se faire passer pour moins dangereux en poussant des minorités sous la lumière. Il n'y a vraiment rien de plus lâche et dangereux qu'un homme raciste et sur de lui.

@sermonfanclub Sometimes, it's just a genuine inability to feel empathy. It tends to happen more often in men, but women can lack that too. It will seep through other parts of their lives too, the best thing to do is just disengage at this point.

I interacted with a carnist once who openly admitted that she didn't care if farm workers and animals both suffered or that meat farming took up 80% of agriculture and native land so long as she could have access to them so she could “enjoy the taste." Unreal

@lushstars444 Not white, I live in a diverse neighborhood. Being vegan here is affordable, and eating meat is more expensive. The vegans I've met are less likely to be racist, and more likely to be empathetic. We just feel strongly about living beings.
