PhD Viva Voce Defence Highlights Congratulations to Ms Juhi Yadav, Project Scientist at NCPOR, on successfully defending her PhD Viva Voce Examination at Mangalore University on 24 December 2025. Her PhD research was carried out under the guidance of Dr. Avinash Kumar, Scientist-E & SIC, NCPOR. Her doctoral thesis titled “Polar Sea-Ice Variability and Dynamics: Linkage between Ocean–Atmospheric Forcing,” focuses on understanding the drivers of Arctic and Antarctic sea-ice variability and the role of coupled ocean–atmosphere processes in shaping global climate systems.
