This was exactly how one woman lost her marriage in my neighborhood. The husband used to be all over her and did her bidding without a second thought. She leveraged the attention from the man and began to weaponize it. At the slightest provocation, usually instigated by her, she'll pack some of her belongings and carry the kids to father's house. The husband would be sending money for feeding and after some days with intensive begging, the family will now allow him to come and bring her back. He'll still spend a lot in drinks and settlement for the mother for taking care of the kids. After another instance, the husband warned the wife sternly that he'll never come to her father's house again to bring her back whenever she leaves his house and runs to the father's house. He made her understand that if she likes, let her stay one year in her father's house and come back whenever she wants, he's okay with it. But the last thing he'll do will be coming to her father's house to beg for her return. The wife thought that the husband was joking. At another small fight, she packed some of her belongings, her children and left for her father's house. The husband didn't flinch. He didn't call. He zeroed it. After a week, the mother called and was bashing the man for asking about her wife and kids. The following week the father called. The husband didn't flinch. After a month, the wife called for the children's school fees. The man said he's not sending a dime unless the kids return to his house. If they're under another person's roof without his approval, the person harbouring them should foot the bills. From a month, it entered 2 months. At this point the wife was already tired of staying outside. She sent her husband's younger brother to plead to the husband on her behalf so he could come bring her back. The husband didn't flinch. He said he's never doing it again. And shame of what people would say held her back. She couldn't imagine coming back by herself after bragging to her women league that her husband worships her. Gradually, it turned into a year. She later sent back her first son to the husband because of school fees. After a year and 6 months, the husband remarried. The wife is still in her father's house with the remaining 4 kids.

This lady is lamenting that she left her husband’s house, and he did not beg her to come back home. She said she was expecting him to beg her when she threatened to take the kids and asked him for rent, thinking he would argue with her. He sent her the money for rent 😂

How do you really convince someone who has already decided and believes in their mind that this is actually Asiwaju’s voice? What kind of cheap propaganda is this? VDM knows that Ibos are highly emotional people, and that’s why he enjoys riding on their emotions.

For three and a half minutes, an Airbus A330 fell straight down into the Atlantic with 228 people on board. The co-pilot at the controls kept pulling back on his stick. The alarm telling him to push forward instead sounded 75 times. He never did. Today, 17 years later, a Paris court called that manslaughter and fined Airbus and Air France €225,000 each. The fine is the maximum French law allows for a company killing people through carelessness. Airbus is worth $154 billion. The penalty works out to about two minutes of its revenue. A 2023 court had cleared both companies. Today’s verdict reverses that, and Airbus is already appealing again. On June 1, 2009, AF447 was crossing the Atlantic from Rio to Paris when it flew into a thunderstorm over the equator. Storm clouds there reach 50,000 feet, higher than any passenger jet flies. Ice packed into three small tubes on the plane’s nose. Those tubes are how the plane knows how fast it’s flying. The speed readings vanished. The autopilot shut off. The computer that flies the plane dropped into a backup mode the pilots had barely practiced. The captain was on a scheduled break in the back. The pilot flying was Pierre-Cédric Bonin, the least experienced of the three. He pulled the stick back. A plane flies because air flows smoothly over its wings. Pull the nose up too sharply and that smooth flow breaks. The wings stop pushing the plane up. The plane falls. Pilots call this a stall. To recover, push the nose down and let the wings catch air again. Bonin did the opposite. He kept the stick back, climbing into the stall. The A330 reached 38,000 feet, ran out of climb, and started falling at almost 125 miles per hour straight down. The alarm screamed “STALL” for 54 straight seconds. Neither pilot mentioned it. Near the end, Bonin asks “But what’s happening?” Then the plane hit the ocean. The tubes that iced up were a known problem. Airbus A330s and A340s had 32 of these icing incidents in the six years before AF447. In the two months before the crash, the rate climbed to roughly one a week. Europe’s aviation regulator had known for years. Air France had ordered the upgrade, but AF447 was still flying with the old part. The black boxes lay deeper than the Titanic, almost two and a half miles under the Atlantic. Finding them took two years and €31 million. The crash rewrote pilot training worldwide. Pilots now practice hand-flying a big jet at cruise altitude, pulling out of a stall five miles up, and handling cockpits where every speed gauge is lying. France’s official investigation found six things contributing to the crash, including how the crew responded. The appeals court today said the two companies were “solely and entirely responsible.” Both can’t be right. The next appeal will fight over which one is.

Dear football, Today, I want to share with you that this season will be my last as a professional footballer. After so many years living my dream, I feel it’s time to start a new chapter in my life. Being honest, even though I have been preparing myself for this moment, I found it hard to write this letter. After 20 seasons , many people have played an important role in my career. When I first kicked a ball as a child in Pamplona with my schoolmates, I never imagined the amazing journey ahead. I’m grateful for every moment: the wins, the tough losses, the challenges, and most of all, the people I’ve met and the friendships I’ve made along the way. To my teammates, coaches, and every staff member at all the clubs I’ve been lucky to be part of, thank you for helping me grow as a person and a player every day. Wearing the shirts of CA Osasuna, Olympique Marseille, Chelsea FC, Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, and representing my country at the biggest stages has been a true privilege. Every moment has meant so much to me…

1. My son, currently in 400 Level Medicine and Surgery scored 333 in JAMB but his name did not even APPEAR on the Admission List. I was later told by the Institution that, my son could be offered Micro Biology. I told the Registrar of the institution POINT BLANK that, "I have spent HUGELY (Several Millions of Naira) to get my Son to this Point of Entry (PoE) to become a Medical Doctor and not to become a Biology Teacher through her offer of Micro Biology. This Registrar was so MEAN. She simply told me, we are very sorry, Micro Biology is the BEST we can OFFER your son. 2. At this Juncture, I proceeded to JAMB Headquarters, Abuja to meet with Prof. Oloyede who swiftly asked for my son's JAMB details, punched these details into his laptop and everything concerning the university came up on his screen. 3. Prof. Oloyede said and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, please go back home and sleep with your two eyes closed. From what I am seeing on my screen, your son is No.3 on the List of Medicine and Surgery of this institution with a JAMB SCORE of 333 which comes behind two other JAMB scores of 348 & 334 respectively. Unfortunately, none of these chaps, including your Son (i.e JAMB Score 348, 334 and 333) made the Admission List" 4. Prof. Oloyede continued and I quote: "Dr. Muyiwa Kayode, in SANE countries, this Institution should have sent the College Driver with an official vehicle to go and fetch your son from Ekiti to campus having projected himself into the MERIT LIST of this Institution but unfortunately, the endemic corruption in these institutions will just not allow them to follow Due Process" 5. Right in my presence, Prof. Oloyede put a call through to the Vice Chancellor of this Institution, setting his phone on speaker and spoke angrily at the Vice Chancellor, lamenting on the endemic corruption under his nose as it concerns university admission. This Vice Chancellor apologized to Prof. Oloyede saying what has just happened must have been an ERROR of OVERSIGHT on the part of his Management Team & promised Prof. Oloyede that he will personally ensure the Error of Oversight is corrected. 6. Within 24 hrs of that conversation between Prof. Oloyede and the Vice Chancellor, my son checked the university's Admission Portal and discovered his name has been INCLUDED as Number Three on the admission list while the names of the other chaps that scored 348 & 334 also appeared on the admission list as Number One and Number Two respectively. 7. The good news in all of these is that, my son that would have been CRIMINALLY denied admission ab-initio now TOPS his class with a G.P.A of 4.85 This is neither Federal nor State government doing... Every sector of the economy in Nigeria is corrupt. Photo: Prof Ishaq Oloyede, Registrar, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board ( JAMB )

There’s a hormone called ADH (antidiuretic hormone) that your body releases at night to slow down urine production so your bladder doesn’t fill up too quickly while you’re asleep. That’s the reason you’re able to go hours without needing to pee. But if that hormone level isn’t high enough, or you drink a lot of fluids late, your kidneys keep producing more urine than your bladder can comfortably hold. Once your bladder fills and stretches to its limit, it sends a signal to your brain that it needs to be emptied. Sleep doesn’t block that signal. Your brain moves through lighter and deeper stages, and during the lighter ones, that urge becomes strong enough to wake you up. Bedwetting happens when this system doesn’t fully line up. In many kids, the body may not release enough ADH at night, so they produce more urine than their bladder can hold. At the same time, the signal from the bladder might not be strong enough to wake the brain in time, especially if they’re deep sleepers. A smaller bladder capacity can also make it harder to hold urine through the night. In teens or adults, bedwetting is less common, but when it happens, it’s usually linked to factors like stress, disrupted sleep patterns, certain medical conditions or anything that increases urine production at night. It’s not spiritual, it’s about how the body is regulating hormones, bladder capacity and brain signals during sleep. I hope you've gotten your answer.

In 2022, a 19-year-old Brazilian gave birth to twins with different biological fathers. The 19-year-old mom had sex with two men on the same day during ovulation. Two eggs were fertilized by different sperm, confirmed by DNA tests when the twins were 8 months old. This is a rare phenomenon called heteropaternal superfecundation.

2021, I gained admission to study Environmental Science at Ekiti State University.I was the only student in my department. I had no coursemate. I attended lectures alone, did assignments and projects alone. I wrote tests alone, I sat alone for exams. God held my hands from 100-400lvl. I remember writing 10 exams alone in 300 level during my SIWES period. Ten exams in one semester. I heard the word "unserious" too many times. But I didn't give up. Look at me today, I'm now a GRADUATE. What God cannot do does not exist. EKSU graduate of Bsc Environmental Science celebrates.

Take your card number and starting from the second-to-last digit, double every second digit moving left. If doubling a digit produces a number greater than nine, subtract nine from the result. Then add all the digits together, the doubled ones and the untouched ones. If the total is divisible by ten, the number is valid. If it isn’t, the number is mathematically impossible as a card number and the form rejects it on the spot. This is the Luhn algorithm written in 1954 by a computer scientist at IBM named Hans Peter Luhn. It still runs inside every payment form on the internet today. And it turns out that valid card numbers are not random. They follow this mathematical rule, and any number that breaks it is immediately disqualified without ever touching a bank’s systems. No server contacted. No database checked. No network request made. The validation happens entirely on your device, in milliseconds. The first six digits do additional work before the Luhn check even runs. They are called the Issuer Identification Number; the first digit identifies the card network (4 means Visa, 5 means Mastercard, 3 means Amex), and the following digits identify the specific bank that issued the card. This is why payment forms show you the Visa or Mastercard logo the moment you type the first digit. No server needed. The network is encoded in the number itself. The last digit of every card number is called the check digit it exists for no other purpose than to make the entire number pass the Luhn algorithm. When a bank generates a new card number, it calculates what the last digit must be to make the sequence valid, then stamps it on the card. It is a built-in mathematical fingerprint.
Strace@straceX

As a developer, have you ever wondered: You type a 16‑digit card number and the form instantly says “Invalid card number”. There are billions of possible numbers. How the hell is that check that fast?
