"say yes to every project when ur starting out" ignored it. said no to stuff that felt off even when i needed the money. "wake up at 5am and outwork everyone" ignored it. slept properly and did better work in less time. "follow trends or get left behind" ignored it. developed my own style and let people come to me for that. not saying this advice is wrong for everyone but i learned that most of it is just one path disguised as the only path the stuff that worked for me was almost always the opposite of what was popular u gotta learn to filter what applies to u and what doesn't
