Speaking at the Africa CEO Forum Presidential Panel yesterday evening in Kigali, I re-emphasised that Africa must put Africa first whilst creating opportunities for intra-Africa collaboration between our countries. Our continent cannot build scale by looking outward first. We must invest in one another, trade more with one another, build the corridors that connect our markets, ensure our innovative youthful population get the support they need, and give African businesses the confidence to expand across African borders. Nigeria’s reforms are not only about fixing yesterday. They are about preparing our economy to lead in the Africa of tomorrow. With AfCFTA, digital trade, shared infrastructure, stronger logistics, commodities exchange, and deeper private sector partnerships, we can turn Africa’s population and resources into real continental prosperity. The global risk and financial architecture must also give Africa a fair deal that recognises our local nuances and contexts. I thank my brother, President Paul Kagame, for his warm hospitality and for Rwanda’s continued leadership in showing what discipline, clarity and execution can do for development. Nigeria will continue to work with Rwanda and other African partners to build a continent that produces more, trades more, connects better, and competes with greater confidence in the world. Africa’s future will not be handed to us. We must build it, own it, and defend it together. ~ Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR

If I were PBAT, I will enter into an agreement with Seyi Makinde to pick his successor, while he delivers Oyo state to him. I don’t have time for all these political gymnastics. I believe Makinde is waiting for that call. In 2023, PBAT wins by 449,884 votes, Atiku polled 182,977, Obi polled 99,110. Imagine adding Seyi Makinde to the mix Oyo is not that progressive. You guys should better smell the coffee.

"From the time of Goodluck Jonathan, the Onitsha-Enugu dual carriageway was a death trap, but as I am talking to you, one lane of that dual carriageway is completed on concrete pavement. Enugu to Port Harcourt would take you barely six to seven hours. But as I am talking to you, under President Tinubu, from Port Harcourt to Enugu, you will do it in less than three hours..."

Some years ago, when I was a PA, my boss wanted to become the Minister for Petroleum of Nigeria. He was working with NNPC at the time, and the Vice-President was a fellow pastor in the same denomination whose campaign from church to church was facilitated by my boss After the Vice-President's swearing-in ceremony, my boss organized a dinner in honour of the Vice-President and the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity at the time The event was held at the Lagos Intercontinental hotel, and at the time, I thought we were just honouring the grace of God in the lives of these two great products of the Nigerian church who suddenly found themselves in the corridors of power at the federal level. Weeks after the dinner, my boss began to lay out plans and designs to become a minister through the good office of the Vice-President He flew to Abuja every other week but was only allowed to see Mr Laolu, the PA to the Vice President. He knew the list of ministerial nominees was being compiled, but the man he wanted to see to push his case wouldn't grant him an audience. One day, he heard the man was in the RCCG camp for a service and decided to go and see him there. In order to look important, he told the driver and me to dress very well as we would be going to the Vice President. When we got to the entrance of the estate where the Vice President was staying in RCCG Camp, the security was very serious. They asked my boss if he had an appointment. He whisked out his phone like James Bond, opened the photo gallery, and tapped a picture of himself and the Vice-President. The security man looked at it and hissed! "Oga, does that look like an appointment letter?" He asked My boss tried to reason with the man "Just let me have five minutes with him, and I will be very grateful." The man looked at my boss and said, "Oga, clear out of here!" We turned around and returned to Lagos. The following Sunday, my boss began to preach and he began to say all sorts of negative things about the Vice President "We put him there, and he turned his back on us. He stopped picking up calls, and he now has more important people to attend to than those who helped him get to that position." My boss prayed and fasted. I knew he sent his CV and other materials to the Vice President, and he was very hopeful that he would get an appointment. Finally, judgment day arrived. Ministerial nominees were announced in The Sun Newspaper and other dailies My boss sent me to get copies He read the list of nominees over and over again. When he was done, he said, this man really didn't have any power in this government. Glorified spare tyre! From then he never spoke about the Vice President without bile and a lot of ill will. I learnt a lot from that experience.

Crystal Palace sold Eze to Arsenal. Part of the deal was that if Arsenal wins the league, Palace receive £10M. Now imagine Arsenal vs Crystal Palace on the final day deciding the title 1S Palace can either: Let Arsenal win and receive £10M Stop Arsenal winning the league and lose £10M -ì This is sweet like corruption😂

Following the resolution of the MM2 (Bi-Courtney) dispute, attention must now shift to the long-standing impasse between the Lagos State and Resort International Limited, also owned by Dr. Wale Babalakin. The conflict centers on the Old Federal Secretariat in Ikoyi, which has been abandoned for nearly 20 years due to a dispute over residential zoning and planning approvals. BAT now at the helm, he holds both "the knife and the yam." He is in unique position to settle e.

Hamzat would have won convincingly in 2019 when he was indeed the best candidate for the Lagos Governorship seat but because Tinubu does not want a candidate with structure who holds their own near the seat, Sanwoolu happened. In a free and fair election today, Hamzat will not win not because he doesn’t have the CV, but because people are tired of anything APC. Recall that if Lagos governorship election happened the same day as Presidential elections in 2023, APC would have become history in Lagos by now.
Olóyè.@Ol0ye

I think Hamzat will beat GRV/ Doherty in a free and fair election.

They were offered ₦100 million to ignore the crime, but they refused. Think about that for a moment. On April 9, 2026, officers from the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (STS) stopped a trailer truck in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. Hidden under sacks of groundnut shells were 60 tonnes of stolen railway tracks and sleepers. This stolen infrastructure, worth over ₦400,000,000, belonged to the Nigerian people. Two suspects were arrested: Chisom Goodnews, 32, and Ahmed Adamu, 22. The truck driver was paid ₦2,500,000 to transport the stolen materials from Bauchi State to Ilorin. This was the work of an organized syndicate, a planned supply chain, and a direct attack on Nigeria's national infrastructure. Then came an offer of ₦100,000,000 in cash to let the suspects go and walk away. The officers refused. It was not because they did not need the money, but because true integrity, even when it is difficult, cannot be bought.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, personally praised all the officers involved. He said their courage and honesty show the Nigeria Police Force at its very best. To those officers: you were offered a fortune to break your oath, but you chose to stand by Nigeria. This is the kind of Nigeria Police Force our nation deserves, and it is real.

NPF FOILS RAILWAY VANDALISM SYNDICATE, RECOVERS ₦400 MILLION ASSETS, OPERATIVES REJECT ₦100 MILLION BRIBE The Nigeria Police Force, through the Force Intelligence Department Special Tactical Squad (FID-STS), has recorded a major breakthrough with the arrest of two (2) suspects involved in the large-scale vandalisation of critical national infrastructure and the recovery of railway materials valued at over Four Hundred Million Naira (₦400,000,000). The suspects, Chisom Goodnews (32) and Ahmed Adamu (22), were arrested on 9th April 2026 at about 1800hrs in Akwanga, Nasarawa State, following credible intelligence. The operation led to the interception of a trailer truck conveying approximately sixty (60) tonnes of vandalised railway tracks and sleepers. The materials were concealed under sacks of groundnut shells in a deliberate attempt to evade detection while being transported from Bauchi State to Ilorin, Kwara State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the driver of the truck was contracted for the sum of Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Naira (₦2,500,000) to transport the vandalised materials, while further findings indicate an organised supply chain linked to receivers of such stolen infrastructure. During the investigation, the operatives involved in the operation reportedly rejected an offer of One Hundred Million Naira (₦100,000,000) made in a bid to compromise the process and secure the release of the suspects and exhibits. The trailer truck used in conveying the items has been recovered, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend other members of the syndicate, including the intended receivers, and to recover additional exhibits. The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, commends the operatives for their courage, discipline, and incorruptibility, noting that such acts exemplify the core values of the Force. The Nigeria Police Force remains dedicated to safeguarding the nation’s assets from vandalism.
