Tomorrow, the 5th of January 2025, I shall be officiating the commissioning and handover of two significant educational initiatives in St. David Anglican Grammar School, Ode Omu and Community High School Odeyinka, Ikire. I have overseen the construction and rehabilitation of 6 blocks of 18 classrooms, a library, multipurpose halls, a specialized science laboratory, staff rooms, and the principal's office, in addition to a motorized borehole at St. David Anglican Grammar School, Ode Omu, located within the Ayedaade Local Government Area. Furthermore, the project encompasses the construction and rehabilitation of classrooms, a borehole, sanitation facilities, and a generator at Community High School Odeyinka, Ikire, situated in the Irewole Local Government Area. The construction and rehabilitation of the existing classroom blocks is intended to foster a conducive learning environment for the students. This initiative exemplifies my commitment to enhancing the quality of education within the community, providing students with modern facilities that will significantly improve their educational experience. The commissioning ceremony is scheduled to take place on the premises of both schools. The event is anticipated to attract dignitaries, community leaders, students, and parents.

Sequel to the earlier announced new minimum wage for public workers in Osun State, I am elated to announce 1st of December, 2024, as the date for the implementation of the payment of N75,554.28 to all categories of workers, including local government employees across the State. This includes payment of one month arrears to all public servants in the State. Additionally, a sum of N25,000 has been approved as an improved pension package across board for all pensioners in the state. This is in consideration of the plight of our senior citizens in this current economic situation. #ImoleImpactfulGovernance #ForAGreaterOsun

I am pleased to announce the approval of the sum of 75,000 Naira as the new minimum wage for Osun State civil servants. This is in tandem with our commitment to social justice, economic growth and an enhanced living standard for Osun teaming workers and citizens alike. I urge all civil servants in the state to up their service delivery by endlessly seeking innovative solutions to improve public service in ensuring transparency and accountability for the growth and development of the 33 year old Osun State. Special thanks to the negotiation committee ably led by my loyal and dedicated Chief of Staff, Hon. Kazeem Akinleye and the leaders of the State Labour Union for their commitment and swift action in concluding this special assignment. My administration will continue to prioritize the welfare of civil servants, who tirelessly provide efficient, effective and quality services to the state despite limited resources.
