As the regime in Tehran faces mounting political and strategic failures at home and abroad, it resorts to violence to mask its weakness. The Islamic Republic answers every call for rights, freedom, and equality with arrests, torture, and the executions. Today, the entire political geography of Iran has been turned into a vast prison for those who dare to dissent. Resorting to executions is a sign of the regime’s weakness, not its strength. The Alliance calls on international human rights organizations and the conscience of the free world to break their silence and exert comprehensive pressure to stop this wave of executions.

Nasser Bakrzadeh and Yaqub Karimpour were executed in Urmia Central Prison this morning after being convicted on charges of “spying for Israel,” according to judiciary-affiliated media. This case reflects a broader pattern of opaque trials, denial of fair process, and the repeated use of security charges against ethnic minorities. These executions are part of a system that must be exposed, documented, and held accountable internationally.
