@anfieldforge Someone just spoke my mind. The Real Truth. Very confused management @LFC got

Nothing makes sense at Liverpool at the moment. There’s a manager who is clearly struggling and badly underachieving with the squad he has. Five wins since September. No league wins in 2026. That’s nowhere near acceptable for a club of Liverpool’s size and ambition.
Losing nine in twelve matches tells its own story. Performances are flat, confidence looks shot, and there’s no clear direction on the pitch. At most serious football clubs, those numbers lead to one outcome: the manager is sacked. No noise, no excuses, just accountability.
Instead, the board keep insisting they “back” him, while refusing to give him the players he so obviously needs in January. The contradiction is staggering. You can’t claim to support a manager and then leave him short in key areas. Either you believe in him and strengthen the squad, or you accept it isn’t working and make a change. This halfway approach helps no one.
What we’re seeing now is pure drift. No results, no signings, no clear plan. The players look uncertain, the fans are fed up, and the club is hiding behind patience as if it’s a strategy. It isn’t. It’s indecision. And the longer Liverpool delay making a decisive call, the deeper the problem becomes and the harder it will be to fix.

@Szobolfc08 Y’all should shut your trash mouth. What’s your assurance that Xabi would do better than Arne Slot @LFC ???? With a management that hardly back their managers with enough reinforcements???

Ekitike and Wirtz under a manger like Xabi Alonso will make movies

🚨 JUST IN: Xabi Alonso now plans to take a small pause from coaching, unless Liverpool come for him. He would immediately accept to coach Liverpool, as he really loves the club. @marca

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the first thing Liverpool need to do this summer is sell Conor Bradley. I love Conor Bradley. He is a great player with a great attitude and a Liverpool academy graduate, but unfortunately this is his third injury of the season after already missing eight matches.
The bigger concern is the long term picture. This is now his seventh injury for Liverpool, having already missed 58 matches, and he is only 22. That is not bad luck, it is a pattern.
My biggest pet peeve in football, especially at Liverpool, is the habit of holding on to injury prone players and hoping things will somehow change. They never do. I have never seen an injury prone player suddenly stop being injury prone. The smart move is to sell while their stock is high.
We have seen this cycle far too many times. Daniel Sturridge, Naby Keïta, Joel Matip, Thiago and Oxlade-Chamberlain all ran their contracts down and left injured on a free. Joe Gomez is another injury prone player and I have no doubt he will eventually follow the same path.
Look at Alexander Isak, a £120m injury prone talent who has struggled to stay fit and battled niggles since his transfer and is now out injured for months. Quality means nothing if you cannot rely on availability. Football is ruthless, and sentimentality costs clubs dearly.

@chroniballXI @indykaila @LFC Yes!!! That team is still very weak. Forget the figures spent. They misappropriated the figures. That team still needs a solid DM, two Solid CB, and two Sharp wingers (one each for both flanks).

@indykaila @LFC All that wasn't enough, I don't know if new signings would solve Liverpool's current problems

@AndyHarrisonPE @asim_lfc And you expect Gravenberch to play the whole of 60games? How about cases of injuries ? And suspensions?
English

@asim_lfc Why?! Gravenberch is the clear missing piece. Once he’s back, we’ll click back into gear out of possession.
English

Pathetic performance. Newcastle were brilliant & were brave with their man-to-man press & wanted it more. Liverpool were passive, timid and ultimately afraid. Regardless of the contracts situation this team needs 300m on it. Win the league & show us you mean business again.#LFC
