@engineering_bae it doesn't do much for weight lifting tracking specifically, but neither do any other trackers. all the heart rate monitors are much more suited for cardio tracking, but it's still something if you just want all around tracking

If you lift weights regularly and have tried the Whoop, would you recommend it?

@Doomerzoomer they do better numbers elsewhere. 8th on spotify technology list. That is pretty good.

is it just me or are none of the harness libraries/frameworks/etc designed for multi tenancy? all of the state seems filesystem oriented, no RBAC, etc

@Jonathan_Blow @BenjiGameDev honestly i don't think indie game devs could make Super Mario World by themselves. the engine for it isn't that complicated but coming up with that many well designed levels and polishing them all... i think it's a lot lot bigger than say Animal Well

another bad symptom of the "dream game" is the assumption that a solo indie dev can now create the same kind of game that took a team of 200 people 3 years to develop in 1994 modern tools are great, but they're not *that* great
Benji@BenjiGameDev

it's easily the #1 piece of gamedev advice and new gamedevs absolutely do *not* want to hear it 😂
