Because I’m vaccinated & boosted & take precautions, I don’t fear the virus. What I DO fear is that I, or someone I love, might need emergency medical care for something else & can’t get it because hospitals are stuffed w/people who foolishly-& selfishly-refuse to be vaccinated!

Butler County Fire District #3 is excited to announce that we received a $24,982 grant from @savinglives to fulfill a critical equipment need within our department. The funds will help us continue our lifesaving service within our community.

At 19:13 hours Sunday night, BCFD#3 Tender 31, the Deputy Chief’s vehicle & the Chief’s vehicle with five firefighters assisted Sedgwick County Fire with a structure fire in the 6000 block of S Lynnrae St. Temperatures of 4 F & windchills of -22 made firefighting difficult.

Cold weather science experiment?? When you have Diet Pepsi and Diet Mountain Dew in your garage fridge, and it’s 0 degrees F outside, the Diet Pepsi will freeze and blow up first! FYI, the hole in the 12 pack of Diet Pepsi was caused by the exploding can, not me! #freezingcold

Due to a USPS addressing and delivery policy change, we have decided to install a mail box at the Fire Station and close our PO Box. Chief Webster, Lieutenant Gifford and Firefighter Harshbarger got the new mail box installed today.
