My adult son (who I hate) came home from seeing The Mario’s Galaxy movie. He said “don’t read the reviews. This one’s for the fans,” then put a green egg popcorn bucket on my kitchen table while talking about Daisy being “the hot one”

@Smug_Homeslice I've published three novels. One a comedy, one a horror thriller, and one a sports dramedy. It's so much better and more enjoyable to try new genres, than continue to stick within the same genre imo.

I never understood people who want to be writers that refuse to look at anything outside of their preferred genre or medium. If you want to be a writer then you should love stories as a concept. Not just one form or medium of stories, the very idea of them. You should look for
