@TylerWRenfrow@WildcatsTongue He’s the only one I’m confident could get a win over Wake. Ben definitely could but he’s been so inconsistent this year. Who knows what he would do
Reasons to believe we can make a super.
-Wake is the lowest seeded host.
-we have more talent on this roster than our record shows
-the best team in the region is game 1
-we’ve played WVU 3 out of the past 4 regionals. we’ve split with them. they knocked us out last year after we had a big lead. revenge.
The Cats are headed to Morgantown for their 4th regional in a row. Here’s how the opponents have looked during the regular season.
1. West Virginia • 39-14
2. Wake Forest • 38-19
4. Binghamton • 31-20
Game 1 will be against Wake Forest, Friday at 12 ET.

Kentucky:
31-21 (13-17 SEC)
RPI 37
SOS 31
Q1 7-8 Q2 7-5 Q3 8-5 Q4 9-3
Won 2 SEC series (Swept Alabama & took series from Tennessee)
Mercer:
44-15 (15-6 SOCON)
RPI 28
SOS 118
Q1 1-4 Q2 9-9 Q3 7-1 Q4 27-1
You can argue SOS but UK only won 2 SEC series.
Chair of the selection committee says Kentucky’s 15-9 record against teams in the field, their sweep of Bama and not being swept this season is the reason they made the field
📣The tale of the tape from our @d1baseball Projections:
- Nailed the top 8/order
- Missed one host (MSU vs. Arkansas)
- Missed one team in the Field of 64 (We had Mercer in, Texas State got in.
Not bad .... we aim for perfection 😁
