I'm writing to share some sorrowful news. Some of you may recall that my father had been gravely ill and was in hospital for the last couple of months. We managed to bring him home, though he necessitated constant oxygen.
I regret to inform, he has sadly passed away. Yesterday evening I spent some time with him, unaware that it would be my last occasion seeing him alive.
May you rest in peace papa
Some exciting news! I have taken a new position as Director of @DNDi eastern Africa.
The position was previously held by my colleague & mentor @MoniqueWasunna who has moved to a new role as DNDi Africa Ambassador. I wish her the best and God's blessings bit.ly/3PJ4dsy
My patients and hospital leadership tell me I do a good job as a neurosurgeon, but I guess if this one person wants me to stop tweeting I should listen & stop posting, right?
