@CaseyNewton @bestofdyingtwit Elon Musk: EVERYONE MUST WORK FROM THE OFFICE TO BE HARDCORE!
Also Elon Musk: *doesn’t pay rent for offices*

@lizklocz Hey @gaghyogi49, did they ever depict the bridge replicators in use on TNG? Maybe they really ARE just for show. 😳
English

@FoundEpisodes A kid rolls the dice, moves their piece, then turns to their brother and says “Allamaraine, count to four.” Their brother flips the board, yells “I hate this stupid game,” then stomps off to their room.

@JennyENicholson That’s impressive, since they’ve given us so many refunds and credits for things wrong with our orders that I have to assume our membership is actively costing them money.
English

@JennyENicholson Well, the floppy disks must be expensive.

@javiervoncount @bestofdyingtwit Well, I swear I hadn’t seen this when I made a *very similar* meme on Bluesky. 😳
English

@bestofdyingtwit I like how either the Twitter Business account is in full “don’t put in the newspaper that I got mad” posting mode *or* their rich text features don’t work. Given that they couldn’t even insert a link, I’m guessing it’s the former, but it could always be both!

@internetofshit Well, that’s a sure fire way to get someone to go to sleep.
English

sorry son, we are reading this end user agreement for bed tonight
NerdRAGE.ETH 💊 (Sellout Arc)@QuagRage
@internetofshit I once had to sign an updated user agreement in order to turn on a lamp. My kid was waiting for a bedtime story. The look my kid gave me… like I was the dumbest person who ever lived.

@DaveBlass @elonmusk I wish I was popular and talented enough to get spam bots to target me directly; all I get is ad after ad for “A 70-Yr-old granny made a bra for elderly ladies that is popular all around the world” from accounts that all have “store” “shop” or “co” suffixes.
English

@_elkue Oh, the Bing cache had the DOE reference (and the same reader view requirement, weird).

English

@_elkue Dredged it out of the Google cache, bizarre use of square brackets and all: webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache…
I had trouble getting it to render outside of reader view, so here are some screenshots of that just in case.

English

@bestofdyingtwit I’m jealous, if I’m not getting inexplicable ads for pharmaceutical conferences or something, I’m getting dropship spam ads.

English

@KrangTNelson Can @elonmusk tell me if daxtoco, fessyco, kippeco, or cennoco are legit? I just can’t believe they’d all be bots after he fixed things? Right? RIGHT?

English

@KrangTNelson Wait, are you saying zitteco, vappoco, AND veppa_co can’t be trusted? Where will I turn to for all my 68-to-70-year-old-granny-produced brassieres now?

@MarkHawk @TerryMatalas @outpostvfx My son asks “Remember that angry ship on Picard?” sometimes out of the blue. It’s an iconic shot that stands tall with so many others from Star Trek.
English

The shot I worked on of the #USSIntrepid rising above the #USSTitan was featured as the thumbnail for the #StarTrekPicard S3 breakdown by @OutpostVFX. Such an immense amount of passion and talent came from our team in LA. Proud of our contributions. vimeo.com/outpostvfx/sta…
English

@DaveBlass @portalrealm I think I recall reading somewhere (maybe The Art of Star Trek?) that for ST:VI, they put the bridge set on a gimbal to mechanically shake it, and the tea table on Excelsior (and the astrogator on Enterprise) covered it up. But it definitely fit Sulu’s character very well!
English

@Captain_Revo Per page 16 of the mostly-canon Deep Space Nine Technical Manual, it’s all about the shields:
