My Statement Related to MSU's vote on the privileged documents today - While I agree with the acknowledgment that transparency is necessary, and compliance with the Attorney General's investigation is needed, it is by no means sufficient for a few key reasons:

When all is said and done….I won’t forget who you chose to stand by. And how I was treated. The measure of character is when and how you choose to do the right thing. Some people choose wrong.

Some people lead with the heart. Others have no idea what that means….or how to do it. And it’s not ok.

Having spent eight months with Trustee Scott and other Board members specifically on the question of how to get those documents to the AG and reported on independently, I can confidently say there was no actual confusion about whether the AG wanted the docs.
