🚨 NOW — Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz issues a warning order to prepare the National Guard. “I feel your anger. I’m angry.” This is serious. Minnesota is bracing for escalation.

@thedougflex Universal quality education correlates directly with GDP growth, lower crime rates, and lower inequality. Countries that heavily invest in early education (like Finland or Singapore) see stronger innovation, happier citizens, and higher lifetime earnings.

@thedougflex Research from programs like Housing First in Utah, Finland, and multiple U.S. cities shows that permanent supportive housing actually saves moneyby reducing ER visits, policing, and jail costs. On average, it’s 30–50% cheaper to house them than to leave them chronically homeless

I wish America would look at data more objectively. It’s better to house the homeless than punish them. It’s better to keep food costs low so people can eat. It’s better to keep people healthy so they live a long industrious life and TOP education for all the children.

Keeping food accessible means fewer health crises and higher workforce productivity. When fresh food prices rise, diet-related diseases (diabetes, hypertension, heart disease) soar — and the government ends up paying those costs later through Medicare, Medicaid, and lost labor.

All people in your life represent who you want to be -and who you don’t want to be. That’s it.
